Get Involved


Children are waiting for you. Don’t waste precious time in getting involved with a waiting child. All they need is your time and willingness to share.

Be a friend to an Amachi child by meeting with them 3 or 4 times a month for one year. We will provide you with ongoing support, ideas, resources, and training to insure your mentoring relationship is successful.

 

  

Next Steps

  • Fill out our “I’m Interested” Form. We will follow up with a phone call to discuss your interest. 
  • We will send you a “Get Involved” form. Submit the application to the Amachi office. We will do background and reference checks, update you on the progress of your application and visit you in your home for a personal interview.
  • Attend Training. We will provide you with valuable training on your new role as a mentor.
  • Match Up. We will interview children and their families to find the right child for you.
